Cancellation/Re-booking Policy

1. In line with other professional providers, the full fee for any service will be charged for cancellation of an appointment - for any reason - at less than 48 hours notice. This is a full condition of booking an appointment, which is a contract for the provision of hypnotherapy services. Where appointments are changed or cancelled at short notice the appointment slot is wasted as your therapist’s preparation, time and facilities will have been reserved for you and cannot be re-booked.

2. Where an appointment is missed with less than 48 hours notice but re-booked by the client concerned the new appointment will be confirmed  on receipt of the full fee for that service in advance. In this case no charge for the missed appointment will be made. Where this new appointment is again missed the same applies as 1. above.  Session appointment changes will be made free of charge provided that at least the 48 hours notice is given.

3. Cancellation invoices are payable within 7 days. Where they remain unpaid beyond this point collection fees may become payable in addition.

Other Terms and Conditions

Payment Methods:- At the appointment by cash or cheque only as cards cannot be taken on the premises. Beforehand - by credit/debit card using the website or by cheque posted to my practice address at 11, Fraser Terrace, PERTH PH1 1BX. Cheques are payable to “John Moonie”.  

Home Visits:- These are by arrangement if required. Please enquire about charges. I usually do not charge extra if the destination is within a reasonable radius.

Medical - The client is always responsible for consulting their General Practitioner, to ensure their physical and mental well-being. If in doubt all clients should contact their medical doctor or consultant before embarking on any hypnotherapy.  This is especially true, but is not confined to painful complaints, history of epilepsy, severe depression, OCD or other mental illness. Occasionally, if required, written medical permission to proceed may be requested.
