Part 2 - Weekend 2 - Practical Course - Perth.
Saturday - Regression in more depth, more practice, other revelation techniques.
Sunday - Fast Phobia technique, more advanced NLP to integrate with hypnosis, more
practice. Review of course to date, briefing re case studies, exam and essay.
Part 3 - Case studies - home based.
6 weeks elapsed from the end of Part 2, Week 2, 4 weeks after Part 2 weekend 2.
8 case studies reflecting type of skills acquired.
Part 4 - Exam and Essay
2 weeks after completion of Part 3 Case Studies. Open exam to be completed at home
consisting of multiple choice, then more specific questions, followed by questions
which involve more clinical judgement. Essay is about personal motivation and what
has been learned from the course and case studies.
Marking
Allow for 2 weeks (depending on numbers)
Total Elapsed time from Part 1 through to Part 4 and Marking
16 weeks. Case studies may be interleaved with the first and second weekends to
save time for simpler cases.
The Diploma in Analytical Hypnotherapy course summary (see timetables below)
Part 1 - Pre-course - distance study and exercises
This consists of some reading of the mandatory texts and other materials supplied
on CD. Exercises to help understanding are given. This study is meant to be at an
introductory level to give some basic understanding of the concepts needed on the
practical sections of the course, but is all revised during the practicals in both
lectures and application. Approximately 1 month should be allowed.
Part 2 - Week1 - Practical Course - Perth.
This week covers the basic practice of hypnotherapy, how to do suggestion therapy,
direct and indirect suggestion, basics of NLP, Ericksonian hypnotherapy and the conduct
of a session and contact with clients. On the first day you will be able to do a
simple session.
Part 2 - Week 2 - Practical Course - Perth.
One the second week students learn more advanced techniques of analytical hypnotherapy
and application to specific problems from smoking and weight loss to anxiety, phobias
and pain control.
Part 2 - Weekend 1 - Practical Course - Perth.
One week after Week 2 - this allows time to let the intensive nature of the first
2 weeks to “sink in”. Saturday -Learn about the business aspects of being a hypnotherapist
- marketing (including websites), promotional materials, making your own CDs. Sunday
- practise and review of analytical methods.
